Teppan are metal plates used as Kakushi Buki (Hidden weapons). Teppan literally means 'Metal Plate'.
During 2001 Hatsumi Masaaki, Soke of the Bujinkan Dojo had his students study this weapon as part of their Koppojutsu training. It can also be thrown just like any other shuriken
