Maruhoshi is a hand held folding weapon that has a front blade like a Yari (spear) with a cross bar. Used by various Ryuha such as Ikkaku Ryu
The handle/blade is riverted to the cross bar with a spike passing through them both to lock them in place. A tassled cord is them wrapped around the handle to hold all in place securely.
When not in use the Maruhoshi is folded up.
Hand made from steel with a blued steel finish. Colour of the cord will vary depending on stock.
