Tobi Guchi were originally used by firemen as a type of axe or hook to be used in fires. Later they were used by Samurai to fit the end of Bo staffs or by locals in fights. This one is copied from an original in my own collection This sale is for the metal fitting only, no shaft is provided. It will fit to a 2.5 dia Bo staff with a small amount of alteration (keep it tight) If you have seen the Bujinkan video on Bojutsu you will have seen Hatsumi Soke with one and also the  shihan use on in the kata.
