Tenouchi can be regarded as a Kakushi Buki (hidden weapon). Used by many Jujutsu schools as a weapon in its own right with its own kata or as an aid to supplement techniques.

This Tenouchi is made from wood and a length of cord

Very effective when the Tenouchi is placed on the wrist and the cord is wrapped around the wrist to add pressure.
