An excellent product. Allows for a multitude of different throwing styles from many various shuriken ryu. Extremely high penetration to weight ratio on soft medium (tatami, etc) when hitting correctly (perpendicular to surface). I may be mistaken but the shape and weight of this configuration of shuriken seem to allow for a much easier "success rate" for the beginner using a basic throw technique (such as the throw the late Mr. Danny Fletcher's book refers to as "jikidaho". Note: May be referred to by other names dependent on ryu and period) The shape seems very good for helping the practitioner build the right "feel" for putting body movement in to the throw as opposed to exclusively using arm movement in the throw. The shape also seems to enhance the "sliding" aspect of the shuriken as it leaves the hand. Very highly recommended.
